A New Year’s card designed for 2025, wishing its recipients happiness and a year filled with moments to enjoy. Flowers, sunsets, and reflections on the surface of lakes photographed from everyday life were printed onto paper using Risograph and screen printing. The greeting and imagery were printed separately on two sheets and then bound together. Eight different papers sourced from Takeo were combined throughout the printing and collage process. Each of the dots applied to the surface was cut from a different paper. Viewed from different angles or at close range, the reflective quality of the silver ink reveals itself, while the distinctive textures and details of each paper gradually emerge.
