Japanese streets differ greatly from those in China, with their varied signage and vending machines constantly offering new visual discoveries. Whenever I arrive in an unfamiliar city, I like to wander without a destination. Looking back at the photographs, I can always rediscover the atmosphere unique to a particular street or city. This zine documents photographs taken on Japanese streets while walking and traveling throughout the year. The photographs are arranged chronologically and laid out in an intentionally loose and unordered composition. Inspired by the forms of streets, the pages are divided into multiple sections, with photographs positioned across different areas. As the pages unfold, images extend across the paper or suddenly appear in unexpected corners, creating a sense of discovery while reading.
