In the Spring Festival of 2024, I returned to my grandmother’s hometown for the first time in twelve years. While burning joss paper for my late grandmother, I began photographing the old house and surrounding rural landscape. Like old photographs that gradually fade with time, memories of home also slowly disappear. Through these photographs, I sought to preserve traces of the land and the life she had once known.
