A collaborative zine created with my Japanese friend Yamada Suzuka. We observed our respective surroundings—Kyoto and Osaka—from different perspectives, documenting our thoughts alongside the photographs taken on film and translating them into text. The zine can be read from either the front or back cover, with each direction revealing a different sequence of our respective contributions. Upon reaching the contents page at the center, the orientation of the book reverses, leading into the other half. The outer packaging was screen-printed with the Chinese and Japanese titles in black. As the book is removed, the titles remain on the surface like afterimages.
