Tape Poster

I recreated objects and graphic elements found along the road through printing, screen printing, and the use of tape. Before translating objects such as convex mirrors into a flat graphic form, I wondered whether there might be a more interesting way to represent them beyond conventional printing. Looking at the materials around me, I chose the tape commonly used for packing and moving. Three types of tape correspond to different objects and colors, and were applied directly onto the posters after printing. The imprecise placement of the tape created white gaps, unintentionally echoing the misregistration effect found in color-separated printing.
